This weekend the Barclays Premier League featured the #1 team Chelsea against the young and demoralized Arsenal. Of course the favorite was always going to be Chelsea, who were playing at home building a winning streak and operating with a very dangerous Anelka up front. Arsenal was coming from losing 3-0 against Manchester City and controversy surrounding William Gallas, who was stripped from the captaincy after some dufus comments.Now, the outcome of that game is hilarious because Arsenal won 2-1 and scored the three goals. After an unlucky own goal, the Gunners came back with an inspired Robin Van Persie and a little help from the line referee. (refer to my other blog post, we really need to fix this offside thing)
With the win, Arsenal are back in the fight for the trophy and some pressure is off Arsene Wegner's shoulders. On the other side, Chelsea might have handed Liverpool the top spot and revealed Scolari's weakness: top teams (He hasn't been able to beat Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal).
Speaking of Manchester United, what's up with Cristiano Ronaldo playing volleyball in the six yard box? If you look at the replay, it looks like the man was trying to cover his face (not surprising for a prima donna). In any case, he received a red card for his antics but Man U managed to win the derby against Manchester City. Now Robinho is following Gallas' steps and making dufus comments. In an interview to Setanta Sports, the Brazilian said: "City have good players but the mentality of a small side." Mark Hughes won't be happy with that one.
There is no doubt that Ronaldo and Robinho are very controversial with their statements and actions. There is also no doubt that they have amazingly quick feet too. Who would you pick for your team if you had the chance? Keep in mind that they might be a little difficult to deal with...

I rather have Cristiano Ronaldo in my team. Robihno is also an excellent player but I don't think It can be compared with Ronaldo. He was last season MVP player and top scorer.
I think fame has affected the Portuguese player in a negative way.
I think he should just shut up and play. He has so much skill that he doesn't need the stupid comments.
He is one of the best soccer players of our time without a doubt.
I picked him over Robihno only based on skill and also because even though he talks to much outside the field, when Ronaldo plays he tries his best; on the other hand Robinho get lazy in some games.
Hello..Hello nice blog my dear frien egui... es dificil desidir eentre estos dos talentosos del futbol ingles y mundial, pero Ronaldo es el mejor jugador del mundo (aunque no comparta ese veredicto, creo que Messi es el mejor) pero yo escogeria a Ronaldo por la tecnica y fisico, ademas que pe parece estar mas preparado mentalmente para cosas grandes.
Robihno es un bebesito y no me gustan muchas cosas que dice y hace, en la cancha los dos son unos mostros del futbol pero el uno es mas maduro y a crecido mas que el otro.
